The house is located in the small village of Štinjan just outside Pula on the northern Croatian coast. The old stone house had been abandoned for decades when we found it, but has now been renovated to maintain its old rustic mediterranean character while providing what a modern vacation home requires. The house has a beautiful sea view from the upstairs and back yard and you can enjoy incredible sunsets every evening. We have designed our home to be a simple and calm place to rest up and recharge.
We have a small grocer 100 m from the house. A 20 minute bus ride will take you to Pula city centre. There you can enjoy the interesting and very present history from Roman times, a bustling food market, and bars and restaurants. Pula has an airport and ferry lines that connect to Venice in Italy. Pula is known for its beautiful coast and beaches with crystal clear water. A few different beaches can be reached from the house by foot, bike, or bus. Our favourite beach is only 800 meters away.
The house is located in Štinjan, a small village close to Pula. In fact it is a part of the Pula municipality which means there is access to the Pula bus system (150 meters to bus stop). Also the city of Pula takes care of garbage pick up and other city functions.
It is quiet place which is popular with tourists in the summer. We have a small grocer close by (100 meters) which is open every day, as well as a bakery within walking distance.
Sometimes there are musical performances on the little square.
